PETER J. JAENSCH, ESQ.
Attorney Peter Jürgen Jaensch received his Juris Doctor Degree from Rutgers University School of Law. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Communications from Michigan State University.
He is a former U.S. Air Force captain, and was awarded the Bronze Star in Vietnam. He served in the Pentagon and the US Treasury Department before embarking on his career in immigration law.
Peter Jaensch founded his own law firm in 1982. He is a former member of the board of directors for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
He presently is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Sarasota Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the European-American, German-American and Sarasota Chambers of Commerce.
He was recognized as one of the ten most influential lawyers on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Born in Berlin, Germany, Mr. Jaensch has also been active in real estate investment and property acquisition.
P. CHRISTOPHER JAENSCH, ESQ.
Attorney P. Christopher Jaensch received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1992 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1995 from the University of Florida. While at UF, he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa Society and Florida Blue Key, the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in the state of Florida.
Mr. Jaensch is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Sarasota Bar Association. He has served as President of the Sarasota-Manatee International Trade Club and serves as Regional Vice Chair, Tampa Bay, in the Central Florida Chapter of AILA. He is active in several local organizations, including the influential Laurel Park Neighborhood Association in downtown Sarasota.
Mr. Jaensch has over 16 years of experience in the field of immigration and nationality law and focuses his practice on four primary categories (a) investors and entrepreneurs, (b) business executives, managers and professionals, (c) amateur and professional athletes and coaches and (d) performing artists and immigrants with extraordinary ability.
KEVIN RUNYAN
Associate Attorney Kevin Runyan was born in Ohio. He studied at Taylor University and Valparaiso University School of Law where he graduated in 2005.
Kevin joined the firm in 2011 and assists with sports-related, business-related and investor cases as well as employment-based green cards.
He is currently brushing up on his Spanish.
VICTORIA JAENSCH KARINS
Victoria Jaensch Karins graduated from the University of South Florida in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She attended law school at St. Thomas University in Miami and received her JD in 1994. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and has practiced immigration law since 1995. Her areas of practice focus on 1) business executives, managers, investors, professionals and skilled workers; 2) family-based immigration, and fiancé visas and 3) citizenship and naturalization. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Central Florida Chapter, having served as a Board Member, Seminar Coordinator and as the Vice Chair for the Tampa Region. Her pro bono activities have focused on abused immigrant women and children.
CESAR GOMEZ
Law Clerk Cesar Gomez received a law degree from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. He practiced law in Colombia, advising corporations, non-profits and individuals in business related issues, before coming to the United States.
From 2007 to 2010 Cesar was executive director of the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce. During this time the chamber's membership more than doubled, increasing the visibility of the organization at the local, state and federal level.
In 2011 Cesar received his Masters in International Law (LLM) at Stetson. While at Stetson he served as the LLM liason to the International Law Society and as the school's representative to the Committee on Foreign Relations in Tampa.
In addition to working with Jaensch Immigration Law Firm, Cesar currently serves as the Vice Chair of ABA Section of International Law: Young Lawyers Interest Network and on the board of the Community Leadership Council of USF.
